- George and Mildred Roper are forced to leave their home in South Kensington (as the landlords in Man About the House) when they receive a compulsory purchase order from the council. Mildred talks George into buying a nice middle-class house in suburbia, and they move next door to Jeffrey and Ann Fourmile. Unfortunately, Mildred's dream of upward mobility seems doomed to failure......

- 都很好，毁就毁在杨过身上。黄晓明他离杨过差太远了……
- 剧情和主演们的演技都很不错，配乐也可圈可点。虽是串糖葫芦的形式，但没有一家一户的小案子，个个都是事关朝廷篇幅颇长的惊天大案，案情极为复杂，案中案连环案情节相当曲折，想当年一度看得入迷。只是制作成本太低了，简陋的外景地，粗糙的服装道具，配角和跑龙套的演员表演相当业余，可惜了。
