- 3.5；虽是2001年的剧，但已然有一种古早味，难得没有资本加持的注水，没有动辄五毛的特效，没有辣眼尴尬的演技，充满活泼泼的精气神，扬州话脆生生的，台词写得也有趣。实景拍摄好评，充分展现江南园林的美，比起今日全部关在假景充斥的横店，真的高级许多；演员对手戏自然，选角天成，尤其要表扬一下将军符合人设（而非现在古言中只求颜值而忽略年龄，功成名就的将军当然得是有年纪的大叔）；服化道相当考究，剧情虽偏于简单喜剧化，但这种重回童年看古装剧的美好感还是很让人怀念。
