A car travels along the French coast. Inside the car, a father takes his daughter to Paris to begin her student life, a new life in an unfamiliar city, far from her childhood and from him. This voyage is their first voyage together and perhaps their last. Nothing seems exceptional and yet they both know that they must say goodbye to each other....

MyFrenchFilmFestival.com很喜欢女孩夜里悄悄端详父亲面孔那一段。SometimesIthinkIcanrecognisemyfatherandmyself,duringourfirsttriptotheuniversitycampus,bothbeingawkward,silent,rigid,alwaystryingtomakeupforsthwithcarefulstares.

It starts as a studio theatre: a good-natured, bit pedantic stationmaster performs his job at a rail...
