胶片的质感，异乡和他乡的思考。小女孩的视角下，蒙蒙的。慢慢的学会着看着世界。你足够幸运了，所以，中餐厅正不正宗又有什么所谓？一个不会筷子不会中文要完全融入到美国社会的人，去中餐厅更像是去一次“动物园”，无意冒犯。

对东西方文化差异克制的描写有点李安的感觉。

女导演从儿童视角看中西文化、包括信仰差异，弥漫着一股轻盈神秘之风，很有灵性的片子。
