- 节奏明快，人物鲜活，CP好磕。难得啊，《少年包青天》之后很久都没有看古装探案了。
- 很难不跟看完不久的《少年歌行》做个对比，同样隐名的少年天才男主（演员还长得像），没心眼傻憨憨男二，魔教教主（之子）男三，工具人女性角色（这点都批判一下），演员演绎上《莲花楼》略胜一筹。剧情紧凑推进上《莲花楼》再胜。导演镜头和特效制作《少年歌行》好一些。
