Radha (Smita Patil) and Ramu (Mithun Chakraborty) are siblings. Their parents Shyam and Sita are singers. Once, Shyam and Sita go to perform in Jalpaiguri to get some money, since they are in a poor status and they have to pay a monthly rent.

The story also happened to the lead actor in real life, feel sad that human nature still has not changed. All casts are good, in particular the male lead's acting is excellent! Movie is well made, each main character has their own song, music style reflects chinese music's elegance, strongly recommend!
