- 看到有人说傅卫军为什么要偷人家摩托；沈墨为什么要去KTV那种地方弹钢琴；巧云为什么要去那里当三陪……我忍不住叹气，这些疑问实在太表面了…偷车是电视剧呈现的表相，是他与社会上的人产生纠纷的一种，但不是唯一的一种。傅卫军这种孤儿残障人士，生活在社会青年纷纷效仿古惑仔的时代，他不是揍人就是挨揍，命运早已注定；至于沈墨，即便不去KTV弹琴，她室友就不能是害她的人吗？丝毫不影响她的结局。人物的命运，跟出身和时代密不可分，人的选择有的时候“无关紧要”，所以不是简单的换个工作，换个地方，换个朋友，就可以换个活法。这部剧，我觉得讲的就是时代，家庭与人的命运。案件是整个故事的线索，很重要，但过于关注案件以及推进案件的某些情节设计，恐怕背离了编导的本意。如果要把这部剧比作某种体裁，我觉得是散文。
- 结尾用一种隐晦且浪漫手法处理了王响的结局。他甚至并未感觉到自己的痛楚，因为他的大脑正忙于回忆，和对原本想要拥有的未来希冀。高粱地里褪去身躯，继续神游，沿路风景、过眼云烟，如火车驶向前方。藉着记忆，他回家了，就像一滴水落回大海。根本没有时间和死亡，人生就是一场梦。
