- 完美，完美，完美，所有演员都出色，群像戏人人皆主角，尤其喜欢沈一石和李时珍的角色，张黎导演和刘和平编剧那更是值得顶礼膜拜。是法治还是人治，君臣和君民到底应是怎样的关系，人性的光辉和不齿，这部剧包涵了太多让观者思考的东西。等了很久，特地把我的第2700部影视条目留给《大明王朝1566》。
- 建议把海瑞老妈的剧情砍五集，芸娘的剧情砍三集，还有嘉靖帝发疯若干集可删减到30集。配乐及动物背景音雷人，后期剧情拖沓，但仍然瑕不掩瑜。编剧很厉害，很多精彩对白耐人寻味，今日电视剧尺度反而不如15年前。群演的水平都非常高，更不用说几个主演了。
