- 剧中陈独秀蔡元培和胡适都被美化，作为民初知识分子群像戏，这曲信仰的赞歌充满了浪漫主义，尤其教员和鲁迅的出场以及雨中的辫子军，视听考究。幸而结束在1921，若是拍到1928，真实的流血历史过于惨烈，延乔二人至死都没能和陈独秀和解，父子拥抱的温情戏是编剧给观众加的工业安慰剂，蔡元培亲手勾了清党的阎王簿，而胡适更是在延年被捕后将他的身份捅给了吴稚晖……文人滤镜碎一地。在四一二中被屠杀的革命者们，无一不代表了当时的进步思想，若他们的智慧留存，抗战是不是能早点结束，人民是不是能少受点苦……可惜没有如果，答案早已湮灭于过往长河。
