- 大陆权斗剧的巅峰之作 不过相较史实对雍正其人的歌颂有点言过其实
- 康熙的戏份儿明显要比雍正当皇帝的时候精彩太多，这也是原著内容所限，以及为了“洗白”编剧改编时力有未逮所致。后半部显得雍正毛毛糙糙，其实他心思缜密、喜怒无常、勤于政务又迷信好色。而且雍正八年到雍正十三年之间的跨度只在最后两三集，有些草率了。但康熙部分的台词，每一句都值得背诵。
