- 真好看啊，难得看到部古代底层小人物群像，充满对普通老百姓的人文关怀，没有天降神兵也没恋爱脑，全靠剧情推进、靠人物挣扎，合理反转，没有任何一个皇亲国戚出现，没有任何庙堂之高的场所，主角人设纯粹，配角立体多面，14集短小精悍剧情紧凑，原作给力，拍得也好，演技俱佳，开门见山就讲一个主线案子，憋了前13集，最后14集看得浑身舒畅。...

- 其实有时候想想，《铁齿铜牙纪晓岚》系列无意拆分成多少个案件，但却在单元查案和角色发展之中达到了一个相当理想的平衡；本剧试图想要追随这种结构，但作为首个案件风格上的沉闷、角色空间上的狭小都很难让人想到还有什么更多的可能性。不知道张若昀各种猛瞪眼和戚薇故作风情的演技哪个更可怕，费启鸣倒是意外有些可见的进步。
- 热门小说改编的范例。原著是个科普向的小说，改编之后的剧本更适合电视剧这个形式，故事饱满，节奏利落，同时兼顾到了人物群像刻画，更是借此辐射到了明朝官场。署名编剧是周荣扬，曾有作品《大明劫》，这就不奇怪了。张若昀挑剧本的眼光没得说，可这表演方式有待商榷。王阳很讨喜。戚薇演了个明朝热搜运营官啊。
