- 本剧宋慈虽然也要被塑造为正面人物，也落俗套的加了女知己竹英姑在边，但比之它剧显得不太生硬虚假；啰嗦之处也有，但也不算太多，加之现在网络时代，快进快进也不成太大缺点；本剧最精彩之处恐怕还是那官场现形记，无能谄媚的吴淼水、阴险狡诈的刁光斗、表里不一的袁捷等等各有特点；曲终奏雅，种种弊政，终是官家不作为，区区一人难以回天
- 营造了北宋的市井和朝堂的鲜活场景，一幅幅社会画卷展开，一个个故事引人入胜。难得的是，将故事开拓到了政治体制领域。帝制之下，结党营私，遍地皆是，并非一时一地一人解决。忠君爱国，从根本被质疑。何冰是我最喜欢的演员之一，喜欢他的外表气质，正直高冷，自有气度，不合俗流。
